1. What is the difference between the Scoring High series and the Test Best series?
The Scoring High series and Test Best series are produced by two different publishers. Both provide solid test preparation and both are used in schools across the nation. The Scoring High series has been more recently updated, has a more modern design, and with more pages, provides more practice.

2. Do I need a Teacher's Edition?
Yes. Answers are found only in the Teacher's Edition. There are no answers in the Student Edition. The Teacher's Edition is especially critical for the younger grades, typically grades 1 and 2, where students could not be expected to read directions. For these younger grades, the test-taking directions are in the Teacher's Edition for the teacher or parent to read aloud. Without these verbal instructions, many pages in the student edition will be meaningless.

3. Can I use just the Teacher's Edition, without purchasing the Student Edition?
No. Each student page appears in the Teacher's Edition at a greatly reduced size, not giving enough room for students to write. And more importantly, the answers are marked directly on this facsimile of each student page.

4. What is the difference between the Test Best on the TerraNova Basic Battery series and the Test Best on the TerraNova Multiple Assessment series?
In the Basic Battery series, all questions are multiple-choice with fill-in-the-bubble style of answering. In the Multiple Assessment series you get all the multiple-choice questions that you find in the Basic Battery series, in addition, you get questions that require a one or two sentence short answer.

5. I home school, can I use these for test preparation?
Absolutely! These books are excellent for preparation for all students.

6. Do you have the actual tests?
No. We suggest you contact your local school district for information.

7. Do you have samples?
No. To keep our prices low, we do not send out samples. However, you can find sample pages for every test preparation book on our website. You can see at least three pages from the Student Edition and one page from the Teacher's Edition.

8. What is a group set or a class set?
A Group Set includes ten identical Student Editions and one Teacher’s Edition. A Class Set includes thirty identical Student Editions and one Teacher’s Edition.

9. How long will it take to get my books?
Typically your order will ship out within 24 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday. We ship from Southern California and transit time to you depends on where you are. If you are in Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, or farther east, you can expect to receive your books in five business days from the day your order leaves our warehouse. We can ship by UPS Air for next day or second day delivery. For an order of one student edition and one teacher's edition you will pay in the neighborhood of $48.00 for next-day-air service and $25.00 for second-day-air service.
